Jessica is the Communications Director for the national nonprofit Connected Nation. In that role, she is responsible for overall brand strategy, which includes building program recognition through digital communications, media relations, and marketing opportunities.
 
In addition, Jessica is an Emmy and Murrow award-winning journalist with more than 25 years’ experience in broadcast journalism and nonprofit communications.  She was named the 2023 Digital Communicator of the Year by PR News. 

Kailynn Bannon supports the Connected Nation team as a Multimedia Content Producer.  In that role, Kailynn writes blogs, edits videos, this podcast, and newsletters, and creates social media outreach. 

Her responsibilities also include researching video marketing trends and analyzing website and social media metrics, while enhancing various communications materials like brochures and event invitations.

Lily McCoy is the Senior Communications Specialist for Connected Nation. In that role, she provides support to the Communications Department through social media outreach and writing.  In addition, Lily edits and provides promotional support for this podcast. 

She also adds a source of creativity to the team with a background in personal relations and marketing. Lily has a bachelors in corporate and organizational communications from Western Kentucky University.
